Xiaomi unveils elegant Watch S4 41mm. They entice with premium look and bright display The smaller Watch S4 variant offers 8-day battery life Four color variants are available, including a luxurious gold edition It has a more efficient modem but the same health measurement sensor Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Publikováno: 29. 6. 2025 10:00 Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has expanded its range of smartwatches with a more compact variant of its previously introduced model. The new Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm are, as the name suggests, a smaller sibling to the standard Watch S4 and are primarily aimed at users with slimmer wrists or those who prefer a less conspicuous look. The watches retain the premium appearance and most of the features of the larger version but differ in several key aspects. Compact design with premium materials The Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm boasts a 1.32-inch round AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, offering a 60 Hz refresh rate and an impressive maximum brightness of up to 2,200 nits (with typical HBM brightness of 1,500 nits). Compared to the standard 47mm version, they are significantly lighter – weighing just 32 grams and only 9.5 mm thin, which can contribute to greater comfort during all-day wear. The watches come in four color variants: black, mint green, white, and a special gold version. It is the gold edition that is most striking, as it features a Milanese strap and a crown decorated with six cultivated diamonds. Users can choose from three types of straps: plastic (TPU), leather, and the aforementioned Milanese. Decent battery life even in a smaller form factor Despite the more compact dimensions, Xiaomi engineers managed to fit a 320 mAh battery into the watches, providing up to 8 days of battery life with typical usage. With more demanding use, the watches last about 4 days, and with Always-On Display mode enabled, approximately 3 days. While this doesn’t reach the 15-day battery life of the larger Watch S4 model, it is still a very solid value in this category. Xiaomi unveils elegant Watch S4 41mm. The watches run on the Xiaomi HyperOS 2 operating system and offer integration with other devices from the ecosystem. Advanced health and sport features Like the larger variant, the Watch S4 41mm also brings an improved 4-LED + 4PD sensor module for more accurate heart rate tracking. The watches support over 150 sport modes and include comprehensive health features such as heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, blood oxygen saturation measurement, and highly accurate temperature measurement. An interesting new feature is support for real-time heart rate tracking during swimming and the option for Bluetooth heart rate broadcasting to synchronize data with cycling and fitness equipment. Also included are a GPS module, an SOS function for emergencies, and 5ATM water resistance. Price and availability The basic model with a fluoro-rubber strap is sold in China for 999 jüanů (approximately 3,200 Kč converted). The version with a leather strap costs 1,199 jüanů (about 3,800 Kč), and the top variant with a Milanese strap comes in at 1,499 jüanů (roughly 4,800 Kč). The watches have so far been officially launched only on the Chinese market, and Xiaomi has not yet commented on their global availability. However, the standard 47mm Watch S4 model is already available in the Czech Republic at a price starting from 3,399 Kč, so there is a chance that the more compact variant will also make its way to our market over time.
