Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has expanded its accessory portfolio with two interesting new products for selfie photography enthusiasts. A pair of selfie sticks is coming to the global market – Xiaomi Zoom Floor Selfie Stick Tripod 62″ and Xiaomi Selfie Stick Tripod Mini. Both sticks offer wireless photography capability, an integrated stand, and various creative options, but they differ in size and purpose.

Xiaomi Zoom Floor Selfie Stick – Tripod Selfie Stick

The larger of the models primarily impresses with its extendable stick with a length of up to 62 inches (approximately 157 cm), which allows capturing photos from a nearly natural eye level. The stick is made of a 10-section aluminum alloy telescopic structure, ensuring sufficient strength when fully extended. The manufacturer particularly highlights the stable tripod with an extended leg position, which, thanks to the umbrella rib-shaped zinc alloy, minimizes shakes when taking photos.

Users will also appreciate the clever tripod deployment solution – a light tap on the bottom part is enough, and the tripod automatically unfolds. After unfolding the legs, the base reaches a radius of 8.8 inches (approximately 22.3 cm) and provides excellent stability. For even better securing during outdoor photography, special pegs that can be stuck into the ground are available for purchase.

Practical Accessories and Advanced Features

Included in the package is a wireless Bluetooth control, which magnetically attaches to the handle and allows for remote photography. The control offers several useful functions – double-pressing the button quickly activates the camera, you can switch between photo and video modes, or switch between the front and rear cameras. Another interesting feature is the possibility of remote zooming with 0.1x precision, which will be appreciated especially by more advanced users.

On the top part of the selfie stick, you will find a hidden accessory port (standard cold shoe mount), which allows attaching accessories like a lighting panel or adapter. The phone holder is fully rotatable and allows photography at various angles and orientations. Design elements are complemented by a reflective sticker for easier localization in low light and an elegant pinhole-style battery compartment.

Xiaomi Selfie Stick Tripod Mini – Compact Solution

The second model introduced targets users who primarily appreciate compactness and a low weight of 155 grams. The Mini variant offers an extended length of approximately 20.47 inches (approximately 52 cm), which is roughly one-third compared to the larger model. Despite the smaller dimensions, it includes all basic functions – an integrated tripod, a rotatable phone holder, and wireless Bluetooth control.

The selfie stick is designed as a 3-in-1 multifunctional device that can serve as a classic selfie stick, a tripod, and a handheld holder for streaming. The phone holder rotates 90° left and right and features an adjustable non-slip clamp that adapts to different phone sizes. There is also a hidden tripod in the handle, which provides stable support for clearer shots.

As with the larger model, here too you will find a remote control that allows taking photos, burst shots, or recording short videos. The controller is integrated into the handle, so you don’t have to worry about losing it. The wireless control function is supported up to a distance of 393 inches (approximately 10 meters), provided there are no major obstacles between the device and the remote control.

Availability and Price Unknown So Far

Although Xiaomi has already introduced both selfie sticks on its global website, information about availability and prices for the Czech market is not yet available. Given that the manufacturer imports a significant portion of globally introduced accessories to the Czech Republic, it is likely that both new products will eventually appear in the offerings of domestic retailers.
