Following the discount on the 100GB prepaid card, Vodafone is introducing another relatively interesting discount promotion for its tariff Red Basic Lite, which it now offers with a permanent 43% discount. The operator is also adding a summer data bonus, which could be particularly appealing to those who usually manage with a smaller data volume but would appreciate a data boost during the summer months. However, it’s important to note from the outset that the promotion is only valid for new customers or those switching from a prepaid card.

What does the discounted Red Basic Lite offer?

The Red Basic Lite tariff is among Vodafone’s basic offers with unlimited calls and SMS. In the operator’s standard offer, it costs 567 Kč per month, but now it is available for 329 Kč per month, which represents a 43% discount.

The basic parameters of the tariff include unlimited calls and SMS to all mobile and fixed networks in the Czech Republic and a data package of 3 GB. It also includes roaming in EU countries, Norway, Liechtenstein, Great Britain, and Iceland, where you can use the same conditions as at home without surcharges.

Summer data bonus as the main attraction

Undoubtedly, the most interesting element of the current offer is the summer data bonus. From June 19 to August 31, 2025, customers of this tariff could activate a 30 GB data package valid for 31 days a total of three times (so it is still possible to activate it twice). Activation is simple via the self-service portal on the My Vodafone website or in the mobile application.

In total, it was possible to get up to 90 GB of extra data during the summer. The last opportunity to activate the summer bonus is August 31, 2025.

Who is the offer suitable for?

The discounted Red Basic Lite tariff is primarily aimed at users who need unlimited calls and SMS but are rather moderate with data. The basic 3 GB package is sufficient for standard web browsing, checking emails, and using navigation.

Thanks to the summer data bonus, the tariff can also be attractive for those who plan higher data consumption in the summer – for example, due to travel, when it’s useful to have online maps, guides, or share experiences on social media. For less than 330 Kč per month, it is a competitive offer.
